We took another ride to Prescott today. Had a nice brunch and then headed to Goldwater Lake. It's a very nice day use area in the hills and tress just outside of town.

Note: the yakers were really sweet people. She was 6 months preggers and the pup is riding the bow with dad. Never a peep from that dog. Lol.

Wapiti RV Park, Camping, Lincoln City

I don't think we want to be any further north than Pacific City, OR. If anyone would like to suggest a park, PLEASE let me know soon.

Also, if you plan to be there (99% sure) think you'll be there (75% or more sure) or hope you can be there (50% - 75% sure) please let me know so I can have numbers to use as a bargaining tool. Right now I'm thinking the dates will be 8/17/17 to 8/24/17. The eclipse is the morning of 8/21.

So, if you want to be one of the first in the U.S. to watch RVMoon defeat that mean ol' August sun start planning now. This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Count me in the 'hope' catagory.

Denise and I will be there even if the Creek do rise. They are on the other side of the country doncha know so won't affect our travels?
We have gone 8 days without using the generator and I don't mind wandering over to a sani-dump if required.
The place Barb mentioned is a tank of gas for us each way so that and the 4225.00 Ferry fee will be easy peezy after this last 6000 mile run.
I showed my buddy our trip route and he looked at the screen map and then at me and asked if I was even close to sober after that trip.

You know I'm totally into this one!

As best anyone can guesstimate where they'll be in August of 2017, we're in. But it will be full hookups. That's non-negotiable for us.

So far I'm thinking we have
Jeff and Marcia
Richard and Ann
Barb, Sena and Lily
Steve and Annie
Colleen, Don and Mr. Malone
Dave and Nola (I believe)

Not sure who else, or if you want to channel this to the yahoo group for now.

In the meantime - any one going to Maine with us this year??? Or PEI...
Keep my name on these lists

Count us in at the 99% and would prefer FHU. The only thing that would hold us back is my dad. But that's quite a bit in the future.

Took dad to doc today. He has pneumonia. Got a shot and some pills and goes to see his reg doc tomorrow.

Mel and Kate what a beautiful ride! Congrats!

Well dang Mel! What the heck you going to do now that you can't write those things you used to say about Kate. It will never be the same.
