Just the two of us. This was our meal. No, we did not eat it all. Saving some for left overs.

We have stayed in other areas around Fredericksburg but never in the town itself. the campgroundreviews.com has some write-ups that may help you decide.
We have visited the town a few times and when there make sure you take in the Admiral Nimitz WWII museum.

Good morning Muteys! The winds are finally calm so we'll continue on. It looks like Vermillion cliffs is next. So many National monuments and parks around here. Lots of beautiful sights and interesting history to take in. Can't wait to see what's around the next curve, but first I must do the mundane stuff like finding the dump. Where's that magic lamp with the genie inside when you need one?

You get an "Oh yeah!" on the beet greens. Mine are in one of the 2 deck rail planters we carried along, and I expected only to use the greens in salad. If the home team squirrels will leave them alone long enough, I may still keep them for that purpose. Or cook the bigger ones in with the chard. Yumm!

Fredericksburg was settled by German immigrants. So, you will find amazing German restaurants there. It's been a while since I was there, but you can do a Google search and find out everything to see in that area. There is plenty to see! Have fun!
If you get a chance to return there (or some other Hill Country town) next year, to to go earlier so you can see the blankets of bluebonnets and other wild flowers that cover the roadsides and hills. Breathtaking! (Thank you, Lady Bird.)

The wind has calmed down and we're off to Flagstaff and cold weather for 3 nights.
Hopefully we can see some of the area. Some snow and drizzle possible. Maybe we'll just sit inside and enjoy the comforts of home!

Re the subject of RV Moon, here are two lines of Thor Diesels mooning each other. By the way, we do live in rarified company here: one of our number has a Tesla model S as his toad. He's been giving rides to people who show interest.
Camping World brought some shiny new coaches for us to admire. Trouble was they brought a bunch of gassers - to a Thor diesel rally. They've gone back to bring us some shiny new Diesels.
Oh, the humanity.
