Wayne offered us the use of his driveway but we'd get nosebleeds from the elevation change walking from the kitchen to the bedroom, so that's out.

Although we could even it all out for the north to south ramble by holding a GC in Bozeman MT in January and I could suggest Bear canyon Campground as a venue. Hockey could be added to the mutant Olympics, Bobsled, Pairs and Single Figure Skating, and maybe Jam can Curling? What say you lot???

Well, Dennis, with our new coach we will be able to do some camping in colder weather. (Heated holding tanks, 3 x the propane capacity we have now, better built coach with more insulation, etc.) When we had travel trailers we actually did quite a lot of camping in December, January and February. Granted, that was in east Texas and a really cold winter night might be 36. (I know ... That's a heat wave in January in your part of the world.)

Its not our preference, but we aren't afraid of cold weather camping. I would just need to buy a heated water hose. Had one years ago but lent it to some folks and never got it back. They moved away.

How about an October GC or MidiC some year in southern Idaho or Wyoming? Any parks open that time of year in those states? Maybe Deb and Dale could chime in about possibilities in Idaho?

I know Barb doesn't want to come out this way, but her vehicle is the best one to fit around these parts, less of a challenge than a 40 footer.

Last time I was driving up in the northeast (18 wheeler in PA, NY, NJ 38yr ago) the potholes would have swallowed not only Smarty but Barb's coach too!

In Smarty those sorta roads are fun but in the Moho dragging poor Smarty -- I find curves, hills and heavy traffic exhausting. In a 40 footer you scare the other drivers but we just present a target.

Another place to consider for a Spring or Fall GC is Twin Falls, Idaho. It's one of my favorite cities. Might be tough finding a good FHU park, but the city is really friendly, there is a LOT of scenic beauty and they allow BASE jumpers to fly from the bridge down into the river gorge. We went kayaking on the Snake River last time thru there. That's our next stop so we'll check out the parks.

Oh great and I'll participate in the base jumping like I did the zip line in Arkansas - picture taking. Now Earlene, well we'll see. Hmmm! Maybe a little push could be in order. (Her pushing me most likely.)

Our new friends Bill and Maureen just pulled out in their new to them 2007 Travel Supreme ME (Mid Engine).
