Thanks Dave. It's 67 miles from this park in Bevier, MO to Hannibal. Good road all the way and nice drive on 36. Hope the drive that way in Bonita tomorrow will be as plesant. We can hear the highway from our site sitting outside, but don't seem to notice it inside. Will cross over the highway to Loves and fill up in the morning, and grab a couple Subway breakfast samiches for the road.
So Bonita in Bevier on the Mississippi (almost the Mississippi). Our neighbor has a nice Country Coach.
Huck and Tom...
And so on..

Don... left one off of the Cave Park.
There is an area that's open from trees and of course shade.

Steve, As Annie can testify, you will never be Normal.

1,165 ÷ 6 = 194.17 miles per day.
Day after tomorrow we will run 245 miles. That will put us at 201.4 miles per day over 7 driving days.
Raton KOA 1 night
Haggards Pueblo West 2 nights
Goodland KOA 1 night
MMDC Resort 2 nights
Topeka KOA 2 nights
Shoemaker RV Bevier, MO for 2 nights
Today from Topeka we ran the black roads KS 4 / US 59 up to US 36 over to Bevier. The day started off with early thunderstorms that were gone by the time we rolled out at 11 am. Got lucky and didn't get rained on hooking up the car or stowing the utilities. No rain the rest of the day and only a small bit of wind that played out quickly. All in all an easy 205 mile day.
As for the parks and Papaw Steves rating system. I'd rank MMDC as number one. The other parks are good for a couple of nights. We could stay at MMDC Central or the Western Annex for days on end.
Annie liked them all really but the Raton KOA was the least of them. Nothing wrong with the place. Not a lot to see in Raton, typical NM Moutain park. But then again, I could hang out in northern NM for extended periods. Annie is taking a liking to NM and CO too.
We would like to visit Hannibal MO but not sure we will get to it this time through. Behind on getting to Normal.
Not much else to say on this leg of the journey. Check ya later mutants!

That looks like a lot of the sites at Normandy Farms in MA. Nice shady spots for summer time relaxing.

Funny thing just came to mind. While we were on our way to meet up with the mutants last January Denise and I saw a campground on 99 in CA and called to ask for rates etc. The girl we were talking to said she had to look at the computer to see if they had any openings. I told her "Sweetheart we're outside the gate and you have 30% occupancy at best." She replied that where she was she couldn't see the campground at all. I asked where she was and she replied she was in a call center in San Diego.

Dwayne, You and Shara scored a hell of a deal. Your new unit looks a lot like the one that was parked nearby when Denise and I and Barb were boondocking outside of Cottonwood. Looking forward to seeing youse guys again and I guess we will have to upgrade just to keep up with youse other mutants.

Good morning mutants. Travel day... 4 hours to Normal.
Looking forward to settling in for a couple weeks. I will spend time reorganizing Bonita and Annie will have a list of honeydews for mom and dad. Oh the humanity!

Morning Mutants, we set up our campfire in a can last evening and attracted a lovely couple who pretty much full time in their 5th wheel, their base is Houston. We of course enthralled them with tales of Mutancy and they loved it. Fredericksburg is a definite probability for them.
