There was a deli sandwich in town that made sandwiches like that all the time. And there was no third bread slice in-between! There was so much meat on those things my buddy and I would each buy one at lunch, take a lot of meat out of it and save it off for the next two days of sandwiches!

Boy do you people chatter! Finally back at the S&B for a few weeks waiting on Gdaughter to arrive! Oh if it looks like my post are in bold print, it's just due to the strong signal and wifi I finally have after 4 weeks at the lake with next to none. Been trying to keep up with all the post but may go back and reread a few. Had a great mini with Barry and Pat along with Richard and Ann and hated we couldn't reconnect before they left. Colleen looks like your doing a great job on the Texas GC we hate we can't be there for the fun but we will be busy.

Turning to another big event, Dave will I have a need for a big boiling pot and outside burner while up in Lobsteer land? I've never boiled lobsteers before and after camping with my Cajun BIL for two weeks it appears you can boil pretty much anything and make it good, as long as you season it heavy.

Steve can't wait to see your new nose, might as well get a face lift while your at it! Try not to hang around in NORMAL too long, it might rub off on you.

Jeff y'all have fun down in LA.

Later mutants!

Get off the fence Dave and Colleen! I am happy to teach whoever wants to learn how to make Chinese food and I will print out recipes for anyone that wants them too.

Hope you are able to get out of San Antonio without using a paddle. Safe travels and be careful with all that nasty weather in the area.

Yes it is. It allows one to maintain their shape.

Most of it came home. In that picture, immediately behind the sandwich, and on the same plate was a cup of potato salad. Leftovers for a few days.

Boiled is okay but I like them on the BBQ grill. BTW Tim, impress those Northerners when eating lobstah. Take Mary's rolling pin with you. Break off the little legs that the meat is so difficult to get out of, lay it on the table and use the rolling pin and it will push the meat right out of the little legs. Everyone around you will be jealous that you have more lobstah to eat than they do.

What a mess in Texas. I hope it is all gone by the time we start back home.

===============================

BTW, XCTRAVLER is in this park we are in. I have not seen hem yet but I drove my his site early this morning. I'm in 418 XC! Going to do a little wine country today but typically we are here late afternoon, and evenings. If not here try 420 where we visit with Earlene's friends. (See, I know I don't have any friends.)
