Well, cross your fingers folks... I made a cheesecake which is baking now... hopefully it will come out ok. Didn't make Bob a birthday cake Tuesday, and wasn't home that evening, so making it up to him tomorrow... Been many years since I attempted one..not sure I have used that spring form pan since we moved here in '99...LOL!

And I'm sure Colleen's system is like mine - it'll run the whole house, that's where selling it back to the utility company comes from. There's an excess of power being generated and not all of it is used by the home. I can run all three A/C's in my house and still generate a little bit extra power to send to the street.
Wow, thanks for the info, Carl! I never knew there was that much more to a residential solar system. I still think it stinks that the local electric company pays so little for the power you sell them.

I just had that done here and worth every penny of $80.

Well that's no step for a stepper. Get Kate's compact mirror or make-up mirror (I know you dont' have one...oops!) some Duct tape and you'll be good to go.

Hey Mel, just for future reference you want to check online for parts before ordering from a local RV dealer. The solenoid that Aaron told me I needed at Dead Horse Ranch was priced from 15.95 plus $6 shipping to $120 plus $12 shipping for the EXACT same part. Most RV parks will accept mail for you.

I was stunned by the different prices. There seems to be very little integrity in the RV parts biz.

Dwayne,

Are you redoing everything in the bus? It sure looks like you are making great progress on the dining area.

Not everything no. Just the floor in the kitchen ,all the walls ,the dinning area. And painting the outside. Oh and going through all the systems and drive train to ensure everything works as it should. Then later hard wood in the living room and entry way. But that will be later.

One thing to remember it's a 1968 and made into a RV in 1987 so some updating is needed. And the pink had to go. There are many more things on our want list for it but that will need to wait till a later date.
