Good luck with that but a cheaper way to get your nose broke would be to go to a biker bar and get argumentative.

Keep us apprised of the goings on.

Just a little advice. Don't screw with the border officers going in either direction. If you want to carry long guns into Canada read our rules and abide by them. If you want to bring pistols; don't as they are strictly controlled and you can lose all trying to be sneaky.

A few years ago Canada Border Services had a beautiful A Class and accompanying toad up for sale to the highest bidder. It had been confiscated because the owner was smuggling in a pistol.

I've been a busy bee with lots of projects and minor fixes but it has been fun! I know more about my water tanks and sensors along with 5" vinyl fence post and sewer hose storage than I expected. July 12th we hit the road again for a grand, west coast trip that will hopefully last over a year before we get back to Champaign, IL.

Sue & Martin...we will get with you pretty soon to see when we can visit and see the new rolling house.

Dwayne...Looking good! Keep posting updates.

virginiamtns...Any news?

Steve & Annie...how goes central IL?

All the rest of you...keep on, keeping on.
Don, nice to know y'all are still alive and well!

Gotta tell you a story. When we were packing for the GC in Tucson Denise had all the stuff she wanted to take all portioned out and in freezer of cupboard as needed. She then talked to a friend who warned her there were strict rules she had to follow on crossing the border with food stuffs.
So needless to say she dutifully unpacked the
two fresh (but frozen) Salmon Fillets
The dozen bottles of homemade jams she planned as gifts
the 24 small jars of home made antipasto (also planned as gifts)
The four vacuum packed bags of home made cookies (for sharing)
A few packages of frozen meats for shared meals
and a bunch of stuff that won't come to mind right now.

On the way off the Island we were delayed and ended up on the last ferry to the mainland and that resulted in us crossing the Peace Arch border crossing at about 1:00 am
Denise was beside herself because when we got to the border the only thing the border guard did was ask how much money we had, give our passports a cursory examination, scratch Mizzie on the head and tell us to have a safe trip.
Never once asked us what we were carrying and didn't even want to examine the coach or our toad.

Just wait until you get Wayne and I in the same place. You may want to rethink that.

Had a great visit with the ENT.
It's hurry up and wait time now. Surgery won't be scheduled until Tricare approves it. This is the great unknown.

From surgery to release is the other unknown. Will we make PEI? Will me make St. Andrews? Tune in next time for more exciting unknows.

And Elizabeth, that includes you! Did you or didn't you???

Ya know, that's a nice story about all the gifts Denise was bringing to us. Emphasis is on "story," 'cause none of us saw a picture of all that packaging.
