So I refilled the tank and think we are good for another 3-4 weeks. Wrong! Even with a full tank, the water pump won't stop running and there is a puddle under the coach. Hoping it was just a loose cap, I crawled under with pliers. What I found was water leaking out of the foam insulation around the pipe.

I then call our handy, dandy RVM Master Mister Fix-it, Dwayne. He immediately diagnoses the problem as a leak in the water line near the water pump. The water pump is accessed thru a basement bay, which is full.

Nothing is ever easy. Today's project is to empty that that bay and secure those items from Sena, then get at the water pump. Wish me luck.
Sorry to hear you have a problem with H2O... if it is as Dwayne has diagnosed - that should be an easy fix. The hard part will be as Carl said.. keeping your little helper at bay!

You always amaze me Barb. You have the smallest footprint. We have 100 gallons of water on board (if we fill it, which we dont) but no way it would last 3 or 4 weeks. Nope. Not even close.

Can anyone help??

Years ago, I saw a sign at an auto repair that went something like:

$ 20/hr service (like I said, it was years ago)

$ 30/hr for rush service

$ 40/hr if you watch

$ 90/hr if you help...

I wish I could remember exactly how this went...

For many of you that frequent repair shops, you may have seen this sign...

I hope all your repairs & maintenance are inexpensive & keep you on the rainbow..

All this talk of fixin' and maintaining things reminds me - hey Jim - Hey Paula, are ya on the road again?
------
Mel - your troubles are minor. Knock on wood!
-------
Annie and I were just talking about missing all you mutants. And wishing we were having a GC right now. Amazing how much fun we always have at these things - from the very first ever GC - it's like OK on 3 - let's have a blast - 1, 2, wait Wayne, I said on 3...

Dave and Nola, RV Mutants
Ha Dave, enjoyed the phone call yesterday morning! We've been looking over the pics in your blog and boy are we ready to get there. But first we got to get this baby here! Due date today, as of just a few minutes ago, DIL says nothing happening yet. Son thought he'd bring labor on by fishing in a tournament this evening. It was on a nearby lake, one he could be to hospital in 25-30 minutes if needed, it wasn't needed. So now we wait!

Looking forward to a new grandchild, looking forward to a good trip and looking forward to some mutant comroderey! Oh Yeah!

And I was just looking at some of the links on the email I sent the group. Lots of things to do on PEI. If I had the legs for it I'd do the clam dig - love clam chowder, but Annie won't touch it or a eat a raw clam. Geesh.

Steve I was just talking to Dave yesterday asking about the chance of digging clams. I was going to bring my knee boots, Mary her pretty boots and I know Annie has a pair! We dig em you shuck em! How's that sound? That might last log enough to get some pictures, then we'll drive to a clam shack to eat!
