Whew! I'm soaked, and not from the water I was filling Honey with... getting her ready to go in this heat is exhausting. Tomorrow around 2 we will be rolling south to Iola to the fly in... don't know if the weather will cooperate, but we will at least have company to visit with while we wait for the winds to die down. Hoping the air conditioner will be strong enough in the afternoon...no shade boon-docking on an old abandoned airstrip. At least no one is going to mind our loud genny! Actually, if we get it correct, we might get a little shade from a neighboring bigger rig...tee hee! Last time we tried that, we were facing the wrong way due to winds and had to keep the windows closed all night due to their genny's fumes....

Holy heat wave!
Last night it rained. And rained and rained. Not sure how much but was still raining this morning. I called at 9:15 to see if they were going to get the electricity turned off. They said noon to 4 pm was the revised time. So we turned everything off and put the refrigerator on gas and left at noon. Returned at 4:30 and the oven still had the right time. Hmmm.
Would really like to make it to one of Bobs flyins. Get some more pics!
And you're welcome to park in our shadow any time!
Have fun!!

You declare that 6-10 times a day.

p.s., A Super Walmart is better when it is close by.
Jake, come visit us on our trip up the West Coast. Right now, at 10:30 a.m. in San Luis Obispo it is 63˚ with 67% humidity. High today is expected to be 70˚. Come on over.

So if I check the Walmart map book I've got - can I figure out how and when you plan to get back to TC?

I've talked about it but never showed y'all. This is my families camp. This is the view from in front of the cabin.

You can't get a RV with in 5 miles of this place. Roads are to narrow and hair pin turns. Not to mention the trees
