Well, I put off until tomorrow the task of getting the generator. I have other errands to attend to tomorrow and it will not be so out of the way....

We are currently in Little Rock Arkansas, and as of 1600 hrs central time we officially have completed our map of the lower 48. The placement of the 48th sticker will commence when this Narly storm passes, until then we will continue to celebrate.

Congratulations on the completion of the round the country wander.
And the warm weather you are going thru.
We are currently enjoying the warm weather in South Dakota. We actually turned on the air conditioner for the first time this summer.

Looks like we will be getting work done on the trucks brakes while here.

So let me ask you a question... do you place a sticker only if you camped in the state?

My pickup that I bought down in McCallum TX on 2 Feb 2015 has 40,300 miles on it, and my trailer that I bought in Yuma, Az December 2015 has 20,000 miles on it. Just a few mutant facts. Both vehicles are awesome.

Well, that's another issue.
I was warned about that song too. Went something like this:

"OH PLEASE NO! YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THAT!"

Gotta admit, that's almost reverse psychology on me.

Congratulations.

I hit all 48 in the summer of 2009 on my Harley. Now trying to do it in the MH. Won't happen in one summer though.

Steve, thanks for the chat this morning. I could actually hear your breathing sounding better.

My signature has all the places that Denise and I stayed in at least overnight. We will now have to start on a Map of Mexico.

Marty, I have a back up generator here to power the house if it is so required to do. I have never heard of running it monthly and there's nothing in the instructions saying to do so. We bought it 11 years ago and I went out in the back storage and three pulls and it was running. I do place 'stabilizer' in the gas tank when I fuel it up though.

Only the states we've camped in during this time frame. We've also been ,and camped in some of these states several times. We've both driven through many of these states while I was in the military getting from one duty station to another (probably 4 times coast to coast), but we didn't count any of them (of course). I think we might start a new map, and start all over again. Our new plan is a 5 year plan. We are thinking of starting all over again in 5 years. Re group, and this time around (we'll be 63&64 respectfully ). Maybe we'll try a motor home instead of the 5er, not sure on that cuz I really love my pickup and our trailer. Who knows. It will happen though.

Generally, I try not to post the same stuff on here and on FB... plenty of material to go around...LOL but I just had an uplifting moment I want to share... pull up yer chair... imagine a campfire...

"Can you see it? I was sitting out on the deck rather blue because of all that's going on...KC officer shot while trying to arrest a suspect of a drive by shooting, the political soup that we must try to wade through, and wondering when things will calm down....and I looked up and saw a blue wisteria blossom hanging from the tree. They don't usually bloom now, they bloom in April/May and my buds all got frosted this year...I took it as a sign. There is unsuspected joy amidst the sorrows, but I must lift my head to see it and look beyond what is right in front of me here and now."
