Maybe PushedAround, VAmountains, the Ohio mutants, PTJeep, and others could find a week that's open. Would love to have more join us.

While sitting at Trenton for the week we could play the game Mary Ann and I played when we visited Maine a few years ago. It went like this:
1) Enjoy a lobster roll each day and clam chowder each day and rate each one compared to those previously consumed.
2) Enjoy a lobster dinner accompanied with a Bloody Mary at least 4 - 5 evenings and rate each one compared to those previously consumed.

Not much need for a packed refrigerator.

Teaser

For the mutants that attend the gathering in Maine . . . . . just a small remembrance of the occasion. Be there or be square

#142 with the mop reporting in.

Just got the itch. Sitting at my desk and that very familiar feeling suddenly appeared. My kids call it the Hitch-And-Go. Or, "I think dad is loading up the truck. Anybody need to tell him anything before he disappears?"

Ah, I love those crazy young'uns. (adults, legally)

Not really sure where I'm going or for how long. But I feel like traveling light so it will be the teardrop, rather than my S&B. (My S&B is a Aerolite Tiny-house. About 160SF and 5000lbs of luxury living)

If I was really pressured to predict an itinerary, and they KNOW better these days, I can see myself somewhere in the higher elevations seeking refuge from the Texas Coastal Heat. So probably a north-western approach to travel.

I think the ONLY thing that has any real yank on my journey-string is a Mexican food joint I discovered in Cuba New Mexico a few years back. Grandma's recipes there are an honored tradition and it was a delight to indulge!

Can't exactly promise I'll make it there, but I wouldn't bet against it.

By the way, I can't call this one a jaunt. I know the difference between this journey call and the other kind. This one can't be restrained to < 1000 miles.

Maybe, just maybe I will run into my first fellow RVM on this journey?
I'd be delighted. After all, I didn't even know we existed before.

Cheers to the mutants out there on the big green ball.

If you see me, hollar. I'll brew us up a nice Espresso or Coffee-Americano.

Wayne (or anyone else that might know) - do you happen to know of anywhere in Austin that is a good RV park? Looks like we are heading to Formula 1 and then I might have Hunter take me straight to Fredericksburg on the way home; so I maybe the first one there lol.

Well now ya did it. We know who and what we're looking for!!

We can't wait to get the heck out of here. And Colorado will be our target. It is so miserably hot here.

Martin says you can park right in the infield, chairs on the roof, perfect view. Might cost a bob or two, though! You prolly knew that.

Then there's a small park at Bee Cave not too far away. We camped there in a 32' class A. Not a fancy resort, but quiet and attractive.

Cheers!

Scratch that itch! Would love to cross paths with you, but we'll be headed Maine-way soon. Another time!

NM is one of my favorite states, btw. You get warm desert and snowy mountains all within a couple of hours of each other, great food & scenery, arts and fiber...all those choices! Dang it! Now I have the itch too.
