OK, two strikes now on my toilet - the first was the blade was sticking and then it went to the shop so I haven't had a chance to resolve it completely. Now I'm realizing there's a wire thingy between the foot pedal and the blade/flapper and apparently that's broken too! (ugh!!!)

So I think I'm just gonna make a run this weekend up to Camping World (couple hours from here) to purchase one for replacement. I don't want to risk shipping it and not being here on time. And NO, I will not be requesting their assistance in any way, shape or form other than providing me a receipt

I just hope they have a fitting thrown on hand...

I had just gotten over about 3 weeks of upper respiratory infection too. Big bummer.

Marty, I know how bad they stink. I was parked next to one in Tuscon.

Check your email for info I sent you about other ways we Mutants communicate and the official RVM dictionary.

We Mutants are a real forgiving sort. We won't hold your Arkansas residency against you. I hope to run into on the Rainbow someday soon.
When you get that email be sure to respond asking me for my Theme Song. Every one loves it.

Whatever it is, your roundness is looking pretty good for a mutant any age. Now if we could just learn to control the old mutant man sounds when getting up, or sitting down, or while remaining stationary or in motion, and so on.
The last motion seems to be a passing of the gas. Makes everything else feel better. I'm slowly catching up to Teffy (Bob) in age. Oh wait - he's on a roll.

That's the sounds I make at least.
I don't think "Ohhs" is the term I use. I'll check the next time I get out of my chair.

I'm not saying nothing, but just make sure you get the size that accommodates you.

Steve it's B-1 or Thiamin. I tried it the last winter in Florida and it's not fool proof. Walmart sells it cheap or you can get it in food.

Food sources of thiamine include beef, liver, dried milk, nuts, oats, oranges, pork, eggs, seeds, legumes, peas and yeast. Foods are also fortified with thiamine. Some foods that are often fortified with B1 are rice, pasta, breads, cereals and flour.

I had good luck with Thermacell

https://www.amazon.com/Thermacell-Mo...rds=thermacell

Or you can choose Arizona again.

Dang. I don't like the sound of that.
My DGF (D___ girlfriend) has sciatica problems, real bad some days. She is adamant that she doesn't want surgery. And refuses to see a Chiropractor or PT because she's afraid they'll recommend surgery...so, what can ya do...

Hope all goes well for ya. You know what they say 'third time's the charm'

I wish she would...I've suggested it dozens of times. She never considers it. She says they'll just send her to a surgeon or blame it on her being overweight. Which she already got from 1 Orthopedic MD...I'll definitely tell her that.

The Chiro I went to helped some, but more importantly took an Xray and said "well, there's your problem" the nerves in my spinal column are being pinched by a tiny crack in my very bottom vertebrae. Gives me pain, tingling, and numbness. He said I can learn to manage it by doing certain stretches and exercises and when it gets real bad, come on for an adjustment.

The thing on the floor you mean? Yea, I hope so. There's a couple of RV places in the area so if they don't have everything I'll have to start scrambling...

Oh, maybe you meant the actual thrown itself. I believe they do as online it says they have it in stock (same as what I have) and that's my default store. I'm calling tomorrow so I'll find out.

Maybe I'll take my old one off before going there, somehow bring a template to make sure. Unless it being the same model, only newer, perhaps they kept things the same. A call to Thetford may help too. My old one had a label on the back with an 800 number and I have the exact model number so they may be able to answer at least one of the hole questions

Lmao...that would work. I don't know how standardized the holes/flanges are.

And just because you see a surgeon, doesn't mean you must have surgery. A surgeons opinion and diagnosis couldn't hurt.
