Wakey, wakey, y'all!

Today is an off-the-interstate day for us as we head toward Niagara. We're turning onto US 322, then PA208 in Shippenville (for those who might know or care) and will soon be driving along the Allegheny River. A first for both of us. 😎

Maid of Mist is a must do. Then go up into the observation tower. This is a boat.

I have some relatives who drove up to Niagara last week. They had a great time. But also said next time they're getting on the boat.

I'm starting prep to head back to Montana in Oct. Will probably be sleeping in the truck again, unless it's too cold.

Got word Friday that I may be going back to Mexico to werk for a couple weeks later this month. Definitely not looking forward to that. But supposedly this town is 'safe'.

Along the Allegheny, including droves and flocks and herds of kayakers & canoists. It's a lovely drive. Not fast, but not difficult, either.

So, what's the collective noun for all those kayak paddlers?

Sue, did you get the mutant treatment while at the falls?
American Falls to the left, Horseshoe Falls to the right, and a mutant couple at the end of the rainbow!

Ok Kettle, this is not a Diet Tour! It's the Maritines Seafood and Lobstah tour. Tall beers optional!

Never saw one of these before. This is in the Buffalo, NY, area. Such an offer, we couldn't refuse.

We aren't there just yet. About 86 miles.

The picture? Perfect!
