Oh come now! The park service there has never dealt with a "Big Head."

Finally, a picture I can relate to and recognize. Tim looks so much better with ragged hair.

Did Dave see Giancarlo in there??? Makes sense if it was posted to another thread.

SMH....it's so much fun to never grow up! Hey, is there a Peter Pan park anywhere on this continent? Perhaps 2018 we should look for one and plan a GC around that theme!

Sweets, I think wherever Mutants gather at a Curiousity it's unofficially a Peter Pan Park.
https://www.yelp.com/map/peter-pan-park-westminster will get you directions to a real one and you can now officially organize a GC in CO.
Thanks for volunteering.

Never growing up is number 1 on the description of RV Mutants. I seem to remember reading that on the ancient scrolls.

A great American died this morning. Melvin Moore, age 96 and a veteran of WWI in the Pacific went to meet his maker. He was sharp as a tack right up to the time of his final breath. Gotta tell you about him when we're together.

Visited Antietam battlefield this morning near Sharpsburg, MD. Looking at what took place in one day of battle made me wonder what my reaction would be if I was in the front 3 rows of a 3,000 soldier formation some 100 yards from thousands of other soldiers that were aiming to kill me. Mercy sakes.

We're sitting in the outer lot of a WalMart tonight in Piscataway, NJ. Left Maryland around 1:00 pm and stopped here at about 6:00. No CG for miles when you're this close to major cities on the east coast. I'm saying big cities.
I know about the lovely CG near Gillette Stadium in Foxboro (near Boston)

I intended to stay "dark" this week, but camp wi-fi let me get caught up. Thanks Steve, Ann is doing well. Girls said we were crawling all over the canons like kids..
Today I broke down to post a huge thanks to Tim & Mary for the tour & laughs looking for a Snow Globe from St. John.
I was going to tip our tour guide & asked if he could make change for a $100.00 bill & he said something like: " You won't have any change coming ".
Actually, he seemed so relieved to get me out of his car that he ran off before I got my billfold out...
Thanks again Tim & Mary!!!!!!!

Better check yer wallet anyway - just for good measure. Tim took that shoe off a horse that ran by him at Bryce. You were there!

Steve, it never ceases to amaze me when we visit the Civil War memorial how they could stand 100 yards away or closer and shoot musket balls at each other. Those musket balls only had a general direction of travel because there was no rifling in muskets, just a smooth bore. It caused a lot of lost limbs during that war. I hope you have done or are going to do Gettysburg.

That CG in Foxboro is most likely Normandy Farms. I hear it is nice but make sure you get reservations.
If you are in Rhode Island, look at Firsherman's Memorial State Park. Nice little RV park there and it is 325 miles to Bangor, ME. Newport, RI has a couple CG's but no pets. Newport is a nice little city and especially interesting is a audio tour of the mansions. Quite a bit of history there.

I stayed there last year, in July or August, can't remember which. The place is so huge I'm sure if you just showed up desperate for a site they'd find something for ya. There is an overflow area w/o hookups as well. I think there's like over 1,000 sites there! Lots have tree coverage, I didn't feel squeezed in there either, which is one thing that makes it nice. It's on an old family farm so there's tons of space.
