I was going to tip our tour guide & asked if he could make change for a $100.00 bill & he said something like: " You won't have any change coming ".
Actually, he seemed so relieved to get me out of his car that he ran off before I got my billfold out...
Thanks again Tim & Mary!!!!!!!

Y'havin' fun yet? So glad y'all made it! We will catch up with you soon.
Tonight we are near Ithaca, NY, at Pinecreek Campground. Mostly back-ins, and pull-throughs all taken for now, but we are safely backed in, level, & have a little shade. Cheaper here than at Niagara Falls!
A former clogging friend of ours teaches music at Ithaca College, which is why we are here. She & her DH are coming out tomorrow, and we will all chew the fat and then go have dinner. They aren't camper types, she says. Maybe we can recruit them to the lifestyle. Y'think? I doubt it!
Wheels are great, aren't they? We get to go all sorts of places & catch up with folks. In this case, I'm sure it was an out-of-the-blue surprise.

How about a fabric swatch swap? Any interest in such a thing?

Sue, Denise would like to know the parameters of such a swap and she would be interested in participating if we are at a gathering where one is organized.

I'd be interested too. Will we have a theme?

Ha gang, would have responded sooner but I'm parked next to Dave so the only time I can post is while he sleeps, he sucks up all the wifi!
Thanks for the kind words Richard, we had a great time.
Elizabeth, Mary said no quilt shops but several yarn shops, but then again, there are plenty of yarns produced anytime Richard and Dave set together.
Looking forward to all the mutants headed this way cause I know the fun is just starting!
Later gater.

Perspective:
Camping with STMs for 2 weeks BEFORE the Maine event, making for 21 continuous days of pics, pokes, and blarney! My laugh muscles are tired.
Yesterday Nola and I took a quick trip to Saint George and Green Point while the children frolicked in Saint John on a quest for snow globes.

I know about the lovely CG near Gillette Stadium in Foxboro (near Boston)

I have a real friendly neighbor next door.
He has unusual ambition and healthy shoulders. And a heart of gold!
Or perhaps he knows I have fresh wild blueberries?
I think I'll follow him to his next stop.
