So you want to be a mutant?
The first thing you need to do is tell us something your RV doesn't have that you really don't need anyway
and
declare that "The journey is the destination."
and then either #1 or #2 will anoint your membership and bestow an RV Mutant number on you.
Then the fun starts as you officially become cannon fodder and the rest of us get to pick on you until some other unknowing person follows your lead. er someone else want's to take over the cleaning duties we also bestow on you upom acceptance to the fold.
What say you and BTW

Hey back atcha! 🖑 C'mon on in (oh, you just did that!), put up yer feet and set a spell.
Been lurking long? How did you stumble across this secret room here? In any case, if you haven't yet, you might want to go back and read the first few posts in this thread to see what we're all about. It's a hoot.
There's a rigorous entrance ritual before you can be admitted as a full-fledged number-bearing mutant, you know. I'll sell you the cheat sheet fer cheap. 😉😉
Daylight come and me want g... oh, oops, that's a song. Guess I'd better toddle off to bed! Hope to hear from you again soon.
Cheers!

Hey, Possum! Got you another train ... that we didn't actually ride, but we snagged pics for you anyway. And now it seems I cannot open them to upload! Aarrrgh! Downeast Scenic, it is. Martin was rather dismissive: only diesel, he sniffed. Still.... I'll try again tomorrow. Too tired now (2:30 am) to figger it out.😕 😴

You know I love you for the train pics.
There's a train ride or two within a short drive of the great RV Mooning next August.
Maybe we should look into a few field trips.
Oh and tell Martin they are all steam.

For those that don't know, my son called me during one of the campfires at the gC telling me the water company called him concerning a possible leak at my S&B. He was out of town at the time and ask them to shut the water off and he would check into it since we were out of town. No sign of water inside and several days of rain prevented locating any leak outside, till today. When I drove in my son had located the leak, dug down to the pipe and waiting on me to get there before dismantling. Quick parking job done on the Discovery, change into some wxxk clothes, trip to Home Depot and a little wallering in the mud and we're back in business!

WELCOME HOME!!!
Here I sit, Shovel in hand, and Nowhere to go now...
You wouldnt want me working on it anyway, would cost triple to fix what I tried to fix...

Hey Muteys!
Dwayne and Shara were superb hosts to us here in Canterbury CT. Don't miss a chance to drive in, hook up, and visit this gorgeous hunk of New England. Got to see the progress on Rainmaker in the flesh!
We are leaving this fine place today. Gonna stretch Gwens legs for 213 miles, all the way to Gilboa NY.
Happy Trails y'all

We took US250 across WV. Yes it is old, yes it is mountainous. No, I did not hear a banjo playing any duels, but I was listening.

Welcome to the crazy world of RV Mutants! You have a brief but difficult entrance exam to complete to receive your official RVM number.
Tell us something your RV doesn't have and you don't miss, and declare the Journey is the Destination. RVM 144 is yours for the telling!

Hard to believe our 6 week Lewis & Clark trip is over. We leave out of Astoria, OR towards Longview, WA for a visit to Mt Saint Helens.
The last couple days have been fun but typing about much is a bit more difficult after breaking the tip of my ring finger in 2 places. It sounds worse than it is but the splint really can't seem to find the W, S & X keys well. LOL
My next challenge is sorting through thousands of photos!

Don, somebody has to ask, so it might as well be me. Did you land on that puppy while:
A. diving for a soccer save?
B. jumping out of a river raft on the Columbia?
C. reaching fer another flapjack?
Oh, and welcome back!
