Your dyslexia or theirs?

Sometimes my dyslexia wins this silly contest.

Sometimes theirs drives me crazy.

There will be a Mutant gathering next August in Oregon, if you are on that coast about then.
Best to you and family. Thanks for joining in.
Ha Jim/Paula, warning, it's still hot in parts of TN! When we hit AL we liked to have melted! Give us a heads up if you pass through AR so I can hide! Or maybe get King Richard and Queen Ann to meet us all out for a meal. You know us mutants still like to eat!

Grande is good!

Skyboss will be interested in the FAA side of things. Similar background. I did a little ATC in the AF myself.

You have to go back 50 thousand something posts to find that.

Welcome Rosie and Art. I am the sane and sensible mutant. Everyone loves me. I'm also known as His Roundness but I have no idea why. If you see a picture that makes me look like a Unicorn fear not as it was only temporary.

When you are given the code numbers for the "other means" of communications be sure to ask me for my "theme song." I'll send it to you upon request. I'm sure everyone will like to hear it again.

So, on the way home and stopping in Salt Lake City the TOAD was dead. We follow the book rules when towing, but instead of stopping every 5 hours and starting the car and running it for 5 minutes we stop every 2 to 2-1/2 hours to perform the task. So far this trip it has been perfect, except today.

When I stated dead I mean there was no indication of activity. I had to use the manual key to unlock the door and then the fob would not start the car, unlock or lock the door and the instrument cluster would not light up. The manual said, and had a picture, that if the car would not start with the push button to insert the fob buttons down in the slot below the SD card. No slot.

Fortunately I have a Lincoln warranty so I called their service and a two truck was sent out. They towed it to a dealer. It opened up another area and inserted the FOB and the car started - go figure. However, when he pulled the key out of the slot, turned the car off it restarted. He was perplexed as to why all of a sudden it was working.

Anyhow they will be doing a complete check up on it tomorrow and in the mean time I have a Beemer SVU for a day or two to use. Touring starts tomorrow.

Yes, I am rosie and Art is the guy I let think he is boss. I am a retired paper maker and he retired from the FAA and then went back to work a few months later for a company that staffs level 2 air traffic control towers. Our grand daughter is Kahlan and lives with us. She is 8. We have two Yorkies Gracie and Rockie. Kahlan's mom lives with us too. she works the mid night shift, so having them with us is better for both of them. ( me too)

Flagship, You can call me gross, as long as you remember that 144 is a great gross. Nothing like being "great" ( guess I got him didn't I? )

You all take care, keep the shiney side up. God Bless.

Hey Six!

Where you been hiding? We expect all Mutants to check in -- even is it is just to insult Wayne, Possum or Tim. Are you the current holder of the mops and brooms? It's Rosie's turn to do clean up detail.
