OK all. Need suggestions for Yuma for dec/jan/feb. Our first wintering and would like to do it right. Paula says definitely 50 amp/ full hook up, and a pool.
Wayne, have you done campgrounds in Yuma that you would recommend.
Really would like suggestions. Thanks ya'll

Gracie's fancy ceiling panels decided to discomboobilate and I have figured out a way of disdiscomboobilating them to make it look like the ceilings came the way I am finishing them. Log drawn out process that require lots of workinh overhead and scraping away accumulated glue and fluffy stuff that wore out and caused the discomboobilate to happen. Sorry for the technical terms but I yam what I yam.

When we went through there we stay at the military campground. Sorry, not much help.

We stayed at Caravan Oasis, Fortuno de Oro, and Cocopah. All were nice

You're right! The blueberries have played out. I'm sad. But nothing that yummy could grow beside the Grand River. 3 hours of paddling on pretty yucky water. My son tells me it has a rep ... When I got to some shallows, I was determined to not have to get out and pull the yak across the to deeper water. Got stuck a couple of times but never set a toe in that water. I think the rivers in the UP are much more pristine.

Wow, one day without Internet and it takes me a long time to catch up. Writer's block is not a problem with this group. Spent Friday night in Cherokee, NC after finishing the Blue Ridge. Campground was packed for the holiday weekend, and had no internet.

Was a beautiful drive down the parkway, but the trees above 4500 feet both north and south of Ashville are low hanging. A few times I must have looked like I was running an obstacle course Friday morning after the downpour, there were low clouds also. At one time I was down to 10 mph with flashers, hoping no one had stopped in the middle of the road. Drop below 4500 feet and it cleared up, then right back up into the clouds again. It was fun I tell ya

Back in TN now so SIL and BIL can take a short trip, then we will start the slow trip towards AZ. We skipped the OBX due to Hermine, just about went right over the top of them. Maybe next year.
