Left SLC this morning around 9 a.m. but instead of taking I-80E and the big climb up to park city we headed North on I-15, picked up I-84E and then I-80 missing the climb. What a great ride on I-84 off of I-15. Very Scenic. There wasn't much wind until we got close to Rawlins, WY but it really was not a game changer. The Safe-T-Plus works very well. Tomorrow we had to Fort Collins, CO and we'll see how the winds are. Temperature here in Rawlins when we arrived was 77˚ and within an hour dropped to 73˚. Right now all the windows are closed except on bedroom window and it is very comfortable inside without heat or AC running. I'm sure as we head South that is going to change to A/C.

And yes Wayne, you were the first.

But Wayne you and Dennis are out of luck with LittleBit...she's adopted me now!!
Ken, so glad Larry & Di got seconds. Don't worry about L'bit the real test will come when we all sit around a camp fire and tell her to "come." You'll have to tie a chicken bone around your neck.

THANK YOU JIM, now I get another rest from Tim. I don't know how Tim can stand taking a selfie of himself.

Lol. I can speak a little Arkinsaying. I don't think it's too different from EastTexanspeak, which I picked up when we lived in Tyler for 10 years.

We always had tons of okra in our gardens when I was growing up. Mom lced it, coated it in flour-cornmeal mixture and fried it in a cast iron skillet. I can STILL remember that taste. Makes my mouth water!

Us Maine folk were there at the height of blueberry season. I made sorbet, a gf bb/creamcheese pie, ate them fresh, put them in yogurt, froze some, and have a gallon jug of bb brandy in the making. Grand opening of the latter is on September 9. Better hurry! Y'all come! 🤗
Do not tempt me, dear friend. Were supposed to be in BC visiting Dennis and Denise around that time.... I would hate for blueberries to usurp them...
