Oh, I should mention, with the current phone, if I unplug it, take a picture, the battery suddenly goes dead. Recharges in just a few minutes so not too bad waiting

Which one did you get?

In March at the Pima County Fairgrounds, this:

How's about an RVM GC there Feb 12-18th so we won't have so many others to trip over and we can get parking all together? Then those who want to stay for the Escapees can be the first in line.

Carl, have you tried gorilla tape? I used it for months on a cell phone case. It worked like a charm.

The larger 7+, 128GB (same as my 5s) and like you, Jet Black Only way to get the dual lens camera.

I'm afraid that might make it heat up, as it is, once the display lights up, things start to get warmer and warmer. Fortunately I have a w* iPhone 6 so that's been my main substitute during these dreaded months. Been driving me nuts but I knew it'd be worth the wait plus hopefully my new 7 will last longer than the 5s did. I think I kept it charged too much and that messed it up so I'm not going to do that with the new one, I'll let it drain down more often.

Not sure what problem you're referring to but believe me, when the battery expansion started to push the display up higher and higher, all I could picture is what the older laptop batteries from Apple would do - expand so large you couldn't put them back into the computer! Had to be disposed of.

And I just tried, I can't press the display down hard enough (w/o risk of breakage) due to the amount of battery expansion that has occurred internally. Plus, it's an iPhone, any tape over the front of it would block the display so it's worthless no matter what I do with it. Still works while it's plugged it so it's more like a landline phone at this point

Yep, I'd be beating my head against the wall, too. Hopefully my 5s will last a bit longer. But I don't use it much.

I got my Mom one at the same time as mine, hers is fine. She doesn't leave it plugged in a lot like I did. Other than battery wear, they should last quite a while. And I guess you can have the battery replaced if you're willing to pay for it.

Wow... yakkity yakity! Jeff. HOller when you and Marcia come by Kansas... Happy anniversary too. Congrats on new phones, I think... I must have a veggie phone instead of a fruit phone. hate replacing phones.
This AM Imade a batch of Habanero Pepper jam, the kind with the carrots in it( no peaches)then we ran down to Newton and saw Bob's mom and step dad today... she's 89 now, doing ok, a little bit of short memory loss noticeable...I'm sure If I ever make it that age, I'll be near death. She just keeps on ticking! Then we went to Bob's 40th year from Graduating High school reunion...Sheesh... time keeps on going, and we flow along with it. Back home now. Sleep well Mutants!
