We are at home until 20 something of October. We have church friends that moved to the Flippen, AR area. They have a large cabin in the woods there. They would get extended weekends there for the past 5 years. Made it permanent S&B this summer. We'll spend 2 nights at a nearby CG.

Di, your landscaping in the front yard looks grand. Youse guys should be proud of the finished product. Sore muscles heal. . . . rocks are forever.

Barb. . . . did you really have to remind us of the pesky bugs in Florida. It's the only downside of our experience in our CG (park models with a few spots for RVs . . two miles from Bokobird's resting spot).

BTW, the "no see'ums" leave me alone. Mary Ann needs to use anti-bug stuff.

That's the #1 reason I got my screen house. My plan is to be able to enjoy the outdoors in the evening minus the bugs. I really only seem to be bothered around dusk with them dang bugs. And where I stay, there aren't any ants so unlike Barb, I don't have/see that issue. I also feel the closer to the water you are the better off you are. I lived in Tallahassee for a couple years (30+ miles inland) and never really like it. Staying right along the Little Manatee River (or anywhere near major water) helps with temps and humidity, I guess it's maybe more breezy or whatever.

Sorry for dredging up bad memories. Fire ants ate me alive. For those who haven't had the privilege -- the bite of a fire ants feels like you have been hit with hot embers. Then the next day all the bites develop pus filled blisters. It takes 7-10 days of annoying itching before they heal.

Ii usually wear Crocs that have holes in the upper part of the shoe. That means I got fire ant bites on my toes and the top of my feet. I spread Amdro (the only pesticide that works) around the coach. But... whenever else I went they attacked me.

You know you can't bore us extrovert RV Mutants. I was wondering why we were hearing not too much about Sohapi's big event?
