Just got this from Di

Chances are that he might not make it...... it is not good news at all.....

his heart cannot pump, right now, his chances of making it out are not good.... my kids were here when the doctor came in..... trying some different meds.... then tomorrow if there is no improvement, could possibly put in a heart baloon pump or dialysis.... his kidneys are not shut down, but are not working well..... both are short term bandaids.... but i have promised him no long term life support......

Bryan, my son took my dogs to a boarding kennel.... so I will be here at the hospital.....

I am just hanging in.....

Please post to mutants..... right now, you guys sre my closest friends..

update on Larry.... i will copy and paste this to several people so it is kinda generic....
He is doing ok, just tired and depressed....

Heart attack on Sunday Jan 30
Heart Catherization on Monday Jan 31
Discharged from hospital on Wed Feb 2
Felt a lot better on Sunday and Monday
Then yesterday and today developed a new type if cough, extremely tired, BP up
This afternoon, Cardiology appointment. Btw, we both really like hus Doctor...
Decided it was the lisinopril they had added when he was in the hospital
So changed that this afternoon.
Dr said, no more surgery, not possible, medicine was the only way to treat him.
His ICD did not activate because this was a mild heart attack. His numbers (EF) have not really changed

The Doctor did say he could drive the RV when we get ready to leave Tampa to go
home, but no more than 3 hours a day....
yesterday I did go and take the RV Driver Confidence Course, and am now ready to be the primary driver if needed......
go back to see the Cardiologist on the 22nd, in 2 weeks....
Know we are a phone call and some hours away. Everyone is sending you and Larry ohhhmmmsss. ♡ U

Light and love to you both. Hang in there. Still have faith, even in the dark. It's not a warranty, but know God loves you both no matter the outcome. I'm praying the new meds are his answer.

R U an RV Mutant too?

Started reading the post from its inception in 2013 and followed it up till the last few. While I qualify to be a mutant, that does not matter right now. I am joining in prayer for Di and Larry, I don't know them but I know the ONE who does so. Lots of prayer and hugs your way.

I second. And we'll leave the other stuff for another time. You have already shown the spirit and love necessary - you're in when the time is right.

Di - Larry. More hugs.

Waiting game......
heart is not functioning well enough for his kidneys to work..... prayers are for me to have stregth and wisdom to handle what i will need to handle.... he understands i think.

None of the options are longterm.....
1.heart baloon, and wonder if the heart can rest,
Would have to lie totally flat
2. Dialysis to see if it woukd relieve the strain on his heart
Could sit up
3. Nothing

Any of these options can result in stroke
He is NOT a candidate for heart transplant...

I appreciate you all... phone is turned off,
i am not posting on facebook because i dont want it out that we are not at home.....

I don't envy your choices, just have to send encouragement. Pray that you are as strong in this as is possible! Praying for you both, and sending along strengthening loving thoughts and OMs.
