Oh yes.... us as well.....
Right now I am celebrating that there are currently no more doctor appointments until September.... as of today.... that feels like a vacation to us.....

Okay, for Sam, Di, and Richard - - - - here's our day trip to Lake Tahoe. This was our second time for this area. Still gorgeous. Still overtaken by visitors and residents.

Thanks PaPaw, your pictures are spectacular (as always)... Especially brings back fond memories of Lake Tahoe years ago..
There was a "series set for Bonanza" then & we were able to tour the ponderosa house before it was all torn down for a new land development... Such a shame... This was so interesting to know how it was all filmed...
Spoiler "Alert".. The truth about the stairway beside the huge fireplace? Stairs led to nothing, no upstairs... Film shot upstairs was in another location... Just some movie trivia to those that no longer can visit the set...
We also enjoyed the "Hoss Burger" & a beverage in the "Tavern"...
Shows, you gotta stop and smell the roses!!! Our Journey is our Destination...
Mutant on mutants & thanks again for pictures...

Good morning Richard. I was there last in '82. Stayed in Incline Village. Really need to go back now. Truckee and the river were gorgeous and ski conditions were excellent!

550 miles into the trip. Hit a bunch of rain last night but today has been really nice so far. About 100 miles before Toledo, where I lived for a couple years. Goal is to get at least to Joliet but maybe further if traffic stays light like it's been. OK time for some lunch!
