Bob, your offer is accepted. :-). You'll bring her back when she starts barking. Tonight she thought she heard a crow on the roof and started barking to scare it away. It was rain.

The question is - would Mac side with the crows to torment Lily, or would he keep the crows at bay? Of course she wouldn’t know Mac was anything other than a crow dressed up for Halloween.

Mac really doesn't like crows so my bets are on Lily. And Mac doesn't really pay much attention to things smaller than him on the ground, other than my sisters cat who he chases out of the room.

Everyone must be outside enjoying the sunshine. I know I am. I planted 38 purple asparagus crowns on Friday. I have another 39 green ones to plant as soon as I get the trench dug. They go 8” deep so there’s LOTS of digging. It sounded like a better idea before I bought them, but we'll enjoy eating them next year and for the next 15-20 years.
For all of you sweating in the summer heat - it’s 78* here with a slight breeze. Tee hee
