Today Bob drove us to Chandler to pick up the water containers. I now own 3 IBC containers that will each hold 330 gallons of rain water. They are HUGE! We didn’t unload them as it was sprinkling and we were both pooped. I’ll take PoP before we take them off Bob's pickup tomorrow. Bob mentioned feeling like Jed Clampett as we left Chandler. Poor guy! I've forced him into my cursed travel mode.

Come and listen to story about a man named Bob ...

As we were leaving the place where the IBC totes were sold, Bob mentioned a kinship feeling with Jed Clampett. I wonder why????

They are cute, for sure.
Today around 2 p.m. we picked up Lexi. She was well behaved in Earlene's lap on the way home, about 25 miles or so. I hope this was a sign.

So now we are home and the fun has begun. She is playful, likes her new bed but we haven't tried the crate for night sleeping yet. No piddles in the house, no #2 in the house either. Took her outside to the potty area as soon as we got home and then after each time she wakes up from a nap. Around 5:30 we fed her, took her back to the potty area and low and behold, #2. Not bad for a puppy that will be 8 weeks old Friday the 13th.

Some PoP regarding cuteness:

She fell asleep on the console.

It wasn't comfortable enough so she changed positions.

She's a charmer also - just wait!

Saw the Jed Clampet picture. Did Barb duck down on the floorboard when you were carrying those things.

First night went exceptionally well. Earlene goes to bed early, say 10 ish and I go about midnight so time spent with Lexi not with us is not so bad.

So, put her out at 11 p.m., then we played for about an hour. I put her in her night time crate (temporary), turned off the lights and went to bed.

Not a peep until 3 a.m., then she was crying/howling. We both got up and took her outside. Whey there she did #1 and #2 - put her back in her crate and she cried for about 10 minutes until 6:30 a.m. Earlene got up with her and that is the first accident she had.

When Earlene opened the crate door Lexi stepped out and before she could be picked up she did #1. We think she knew it was raining outside.

Not bad for a first night.

Today is play, nap, play, nap, blah blah blah. She likes my beard.
