Our first motor home was an 81 Foretravel. We loved it and went from Texas to Colorado in it (not successfully). When it reached the point where the monthly repair bill was as much as a payment on something newer, we traded it in. Ok, it really wasn't a trade-in, it was a mercy discount. Two motor homes later we have no regrets.

No! We did our homework, and thankfully got it right.

No regrets here, best thing we ever did to bring the family together. If we're home son's in his bedroom, our twins girls are in there bedroom, I'm on the computer and wife is watching tv. When camping we do everything together, if it's bike ride, walking, fishing are just seating around the camp fire we're all together.
