The Hayes office was the group that cased Betty Boop to cover up.

Remember when seeing the little painted notice Made in Japan meant you had a cheapo piece of junk tin toy, or crummy plastic radio that would fall apart within a week?

These days, I am GLAD to see Made in Japan on something.

Don't even get me started on what the Chinese have done to tool quality.....

I have to admit that I too recall a time "BBMcD" (Back Before McDonalds)

In our house the old Kellogg Crank Telephone was in the Kitchen.. When they finally upgraded to dial phones (Still party line) my parents moved it to the living room.

And yes, the television was black and white.. We finally got a color set when I was in High School.

On the farm we got up before the sun and guess who went to bed first (Same sun) Cows had to be brought in, Milked, You know what shoveled, all before breakfast. Then off to School.

IN the summer I got to have real fun... Tossing 80 pound bailes of hay over my head up to the man who stacked them in the hay loft, in 100+ degree heat.

Yup, those really were the good old days.. I know I slept real good at night.

Chevy trucks kept the floor push to start on their P/Us through 1955, I had one. Then went to a starter button. Now the new cars have the starter button. History repeating itself.
