Using Zep or Red Max Pro on the sides will give the same results as the roof. I do my coach every spring and it will look good all summer and fall. If needed you can strip the wax off with a strong soap or the old tried and true method of an ammonia cleaner just like Mom used to do before no wax kitchen floors became the norm. I also use the wax on the plastic head light lenses after buffing the hazy off. The wax will keep them clear for a long time while without the lenses will fog back up in a few months. I use it on every part of the coach exterior except the glass and the tires. Works great even on the rubber around the windshield and window frames. Much easier than 'wax on - wax off'. I've also used on the toad with the same effect.
I knew ammonia would take the wax off the glasses but didn't want to recommend straight ammonia. Windex is fairly mild and I've used it on my glasses many times without damaging the lenses.
For what it's worth
Zenni Optical - Eyeglasses, Prescription Glasses, Bifocal, Progressive Eyeglasses, Rimless Glasses is a good place for really low priced glasses. Might be able to cut a zero off the price of your glasses.
