Sometimes, if I notice someone hasn't gotten any answers yet, I will say something if I don't have an answer, but will say so up front and try to direct them to someone who might.

Is that rude? Or nosy? I just don't want them to give up, want them to feel welcome and that we are a friendly bunch.
