Resort Memberships

Has anyone perched a membership with Bluegreen Resorts?? We have been looking into it and they seem to have a good system, you get membership to resorts all over the country, and a bunch of other stuff including Coast-to-Coast, plus some of their resort have camping sites, like the one near us is in Gordonsville Va. My wife seems to think it’s not worth it. I’m just looking for some advice.

As a member of CtC we love it. It has met our needs as we travel around the Country.
Now what you have to do is figure the following
Cost of membership
Cost of annual dues of home Resort
Cost of Staying at a resorts other than home Resort
How many nights of camping do you do each year
What is the average cost of camping in the area[s] you camp
We got back our cost of membership in the first year. Did not save a penny the first year. Now each night we save between $20.00 to $40.00 when we stay at a CtC.
How do we decide if we will stay at a CtC or not depands how far the CG is from what we want to see or visit.
EX: #1 50 miles each way to area of interest=100 mile@ 20 mpg X $2.10 pg =$10.50 savings of at least $9.50
EX: #2 Passport America Campgroud 20 miles from area @ $18.00 +$2.10 for gas =$20.10
We would stay at the PA because the prices are about the same we have less wear and tear on toad.
We figure we save between $2,000-3,000 each year by taking the time to plan where we are going.
Remember if you do not use the system you will lose money
