Retired today, wahoo! Now more time for RV'n and Jeep'n.

A couple months ago my employer offered a early retirement package in an effort to reduce head count. A very good package, so I accepted.

See you out there more going forward. The goal is to do extended trips of one to several months.

congrats on the retirement! It is great! I retired in 2014 and have enjoyed the ability to do whatever we feel like doing, within our budget. We have made a few trips out west and one to the Midwest. Enjoy your retirement, you have earned it. Safe travels.

Congrats on your retirement. It will take a few months before you realize you're not just on a long vacation, but on the second part, and best part, of your life. Have fun it's great.

I did the same for the same reason in 2005. I have not regretted it once, save the economy the last few years. But still getting out and having fun and hope to do it for another 20 or 30 years... Have a great time.
