Almost forgot - it is 11 here in the mountains of Colorado and the snow is about 6" deep. Had to get out and plow this afternoon. First time I have had to do that in over 6 years. We normally head south last part of Oct. but had to have the turbocharger in the Duramax replaced this year. Truck is ready but it is to icy today to get it so will go to the Chevy dealer tomorrow. Can't wait.

Now you tell me! I retired in 2001 and after only 2 years of very happy retirement, and while we were attending a Fleetwood Discovery Rally I got an offer to good to pass up. I'm currently finishing up a 4 month assignment working in the Green Mountain State of Vermont. And that is after working in New Jersey, Kansas, South Dakota, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida and others.

Maybe at the conclusion of this assignment I will take your advise. We'll see....

Retired from GM 5 1/2 years ago! This is our 5th year of going to Florida for the winter! Feels so good getting up to warm weather almost every day and wearing just shorts, a t-shirt and sandals!
P.S. No golf here either. To much other fun stuff to do.

We can't keep track of the seasons either. It's fall right? No more winters for us!

It has been a very fast two years for me since retirement at age 60. Unfortunately my DW is 9 years younger and is still working, which prevents us from spending winters in much sunnier climates. We get about 6 weeks south with her holidays. Get to watch friends and family leave ahead of us. (jealous)

To me "WORK" is a four letter word and will continue to be so!!!

September 30th, 1994 - last day of work! Had I known it would be so much fun, I'd have retired right out of college....
