We really enjoy having enough things we HAVE to do that we are stimulated and challenged, but not so much as to cut into the things we WANT to do.

If you think about that, you will see it fits.

In my 'work life' the former took too much of my time. If you have nothing you HAVE to do, you will soon be bored. There is a 'sweat factor' involved in our existence, but, IMHO, our Creator did not expect it to define our lives.

Visit with most of us "retired" folks on this board and you will see that the balance already referred to in this thread is in play.

Don't think the word "Retirement" describes this stage of our lives very well, but am at a loss to suggest another word better than the ones already suggested.
