Hi Greg, I see you are retired Chief of a fire department. Congrats on that. I am retired from the federal Govt as Chief of Technical Services, better known as Fire Prevention. I also have a 03 Southwind on a work horse chassis. We have been to your home town and we really like it. Once again congrat on your retirement

Congratulations on your retirement. The best part is, No more waiting for Fridays. Every day is Friday. You don't have to fight traffic. You can leave home on a Tuesday noon, instead of fighting traffic on a Friday afternoon. Lovin it

Hi hollis, I too love Truckee....in the summer. After 32 years here, I grow tired of the cold, snow and home maintenance. I look forward to winters in Florida (where my daughter lives), and traveling the north in the summers. I don't look at it as retiring, but just doing something different.

Congrats, my wife and I retired at the end of June 2011 and have not looked back. Just remember they put wheels on these things so that you don't have to stay in one place too long. Enjoy and make a lot of new friends.

I have yet to begin enjoying retirement!

Congrats Charlie! We sold our business and retired in april 2010 and are loving every minute of it! Every day is saturday, no alarm clocks (except on sunday morning), and no worrying about keeping workers busy! Good luck, have fun, and keep it between the ditches! God bless!

Done! Finally retired. I can hear Martin Luther King now "Free at last, Free at last" I don't feel sad or glad - just relieved. Now I can concentrate on my main project which is getting the MH ready to roll as soon as we can de-winterize it. I'm thinking about driving south until the weather is warm enough to de-winterize and stay away until the weather is warmer here.
