A sad day indeed!! He left us with some of the greatest songs ever in my opinion. R.I.P, Glen.

Their music is one of a kind. Today their music could be classified as C&W by the way music has changed . My Eagles CD's just became more valuable-to me!

On the comments to the Glenn Frey death story, some guy wrote...

"Nope. He'll never really die. You can check out anytime you want, but you can never leave."

How perfect is that.

Awesome quote....from Hotel California, of course.

We've had the pleasure of seeing the Eagles perform live 3 times in the last 10 years, the most recent 2 years ago in L.A. Just MO, but I have for many years now considered the Eagles the Greatest American group ever. During those concerts, when the four of them would gather together, sit on their stools, sing and play their guitars....man, the harmony was so incredible that one would swear it was just one angelic voice singing those incredible songs. And when Joe Walsh would sing his solos, man he would blow the roof off the place. This group is just incredible.....just absolutely incredbile. That Glenn Frey is no longer with us....true sadness. And way, way too soon....

My hope is that Don Henley will patch things up re the legal issues with Don Felder and bring him back to the Eagles so that the 4 of them can continue the group. Glenn and Felder had a serious dislike for one another, but Joe Walsh considers Felder one of the best guitar players he's ever played alongside. Wishful thinking probably. But sure would be awesome to hear them live again down the road.

R.I.P, Glenn. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent with the rest of us. Your music will live forever for many of us.
