Romancing The Wind

I would love to see this in HD, and better yet in person.
Enjoy:
============================

This is magnificent. It makes one wonder what kind of a pilot would he have been had he flown airplanes instead of kites.

Ray Bethell, a resident of Vancouver, BC is a genius. He is, at once, the most famous and the best multiple kite flyer in the world. In this video he controls three kites.

This kite ballet is set to "The Flower Duet" from Leo Delibes opera "Lakme" - Dame Joan Sutherland and Jane Berbie, vocalists.

Thanks Jimbo.

I'm really surprised that more have not looked at it or commented.

Oh well.

You ain't gona belive this

This video ranks right up there with the best things Iv'e seen
This gentleman is from Canada, he's deaf.
He flys kites, one in each hand and a third tethered to his waist.
Do not miss the ending, stay with it and be astounded.

it's a small world. I used to live in one of those high-rises across the water....used to watch him practice.....then a few years later, I ended up working with his son.... That's Vanier park in Vancouver BC, by the way...
