Well, the doctors at Nellis AFB replaced the shoulder, except glenoid. Fixed the cuff.

That was 26 Oct 2011.

Pain is mostly gone and I can reach as high as the door jamb. Everyone who wrote "get er done" was correct. I expect complete recovery........ In fairness, I worked out for two months prior to surgery. In my case that appears to to have made a big difference.

Kerry

Sounds like a long rough road that you've had to travel, but glad things are working for you. Maybe soon you'll be pain free. That's when that Writis boy, Arthur, will come to visit.

Hi Kerry,
Glad you "got-er-done," and you are recovering well.

Somewhere since my last post I had my right shoulder rotator cuff repaired. So now, two ACL reconstructios, one knee replacement (after ACL), and two rotator cuff repairs.

The left knee really needs to be done, but I'm not liking the down time. (down time being not traveling). The day is coming though, I just don't know when.

There is an alternative to growing old. I don't like it.

Darn! I hate getting old, but I don't like the alternative. I have had one rotator cuff repair at age 65, and now I need the other one done. I have had one knee replaced, and now I need the other one done. Does it ever end!!!???
Hey are you and I into some sort of contest to see who gets the most new parts and repairs.

The knee surgery was the best thing to happen to me and its again starting to look like the right one wants to be looked after.

Any chance you got metal rods in your lower back or am I ahead of you there?

My Dad always said the same thing, keep getting older or die. I prefer to keep on aging.
