RV 8A Flap Motor

I have a gentleman here who purchased a RV 8A, and is having problems getting his Flaps to work.

He told me he could not find the Electric Motor for the flaps.

Does anyone know where the Electric motor might be located?

I would like to welcome you to iRV2.com. However your question appears to be aircraft related and this is a Recreational Vehicle website forum.

I'm sure that any of our members with aircraft experience would be more than willing to help in answering your question but you would probably get better results posting it on an aircraft website forum.

I did a search on Google for "RV-8A" and received 4,430 hits. You might want to try this yourself and see if there's a website that may help answer your question.
