I agree with Rudy! Great set up. Not having the outside washer and dryer certainly would not be a "deal breaker" for us. The price point really off sets that issue, coupled with the attractive park and setting.

Very nice spot. After the initial cost what are the annual dues taxes etc.

It is strawberry season now in Florida - enjoy.

WE own a lot in River Ranch best investment I've ever made. We are on lot 215 when we have time when I retire I expect to spend winters in River Ranch. We will be there the week of March 8 th . I bought at the right time it looks like the prices are a little more now but well worth it. I got tired of looking for a place to stay in Florida in the winter and the cost. I do believe it is one of the nicest parks in Florida and surely plenty to do. I like the fact the rules are not bad you can plant what you want and when you leave it is kept up. We are excited to get back to our second home.

Old thread but very relevant to us. We are looking to rent a site at River Ranch for the winter of 2015/2016 with the thought of purchasing if we like our experience. I have a couple of quick questions that I can hope you can help me with.
1. Do you find the park to be family friendly? We have a teenage daughter who would maybe spend 3 weeks out of the winter there.
2. Size restrictions.... Any issue with bringing in a 40ft 5th wheel?
3. How's the fishing ?

Thanks
Gary

River ranch has a marina and is on the Kissimmee river about one mile from the lake.
Bass tournaments have been staged from there In the past.
