I go there daily as here. Lots of good information, but sometimes I see posts and the posters obviously don't know what they are talking about.

Its where all the Truck Campers and young people went . Though, personally, I view it through its Woodalls portal vs the main site.

I check it out most days, read what I might have an interest in depending on the thread title, and then there are some comical posts for a laugh. If I can help someone I will post.
Cheers

There is also a lot of incorrect information on RV.net. They ban anyone who says they are a dealer (you know, the people who actually know the right answer) so if you make the mistake of telling someone why you know what you know, you will be banned.
The moderators also frequently allow long time members to abuse newer members through sarcasm or out right flames. I tried to post there years ago but I could not get the correct info out there without being constantly challenged and I would always trip up and mention that I knew what I knew because that was the business I was in. BANNED!!!

Visit there every day just like this site. Lots of interesting and good threads there also. Just have to learn to ignore the trolls, negative comments, and some of the downright nastiness of some folks.

I've been following RV.NET longer than IRV2 and have 4,500 posts there. I like IRV2 much better because the information is better and more consistent and because the cranky posters here are much less in evidence. RV.NET seems to get more than its share of those who have nothing better to do than to post things that don't contribute to the threads where they are placed.

There is a lot of information that flows through there, however. There are several posters in Class A and the Cooks forums that really provide great stuff. There is also a lot of bogus info and you have to wade through a lot of repetitious threads about tires, towing and Wal-Mart.

I will say that the entertainment factor on RV.NET can be high. There is an occasional funny thread that has me ROFLMAO. They just come out of the blue and there is no telling what subject is going to kick off the exchange. A couple of the Wal-Mart threads where everyone bated a CG manager who opposes Wal-Mart parking have been outrageously funny - until they get closed.

Over the years, I've spent less and less time there and more and more time here.

Yeah, I visit and post there. Not as much as I used to however.
They do have a much more active toyhauler section.
We need to figure a way to bring back the good times here to the irv2 toyhauler forum.

Yep! I never miss posting to those, and don't forget Bumpy he'll take the trolling hook too. The moderating is effective but it's more like an automaton (not real, more machine like) when people are discussing things it's natural to go a bit off topic with semi related subjects but in the end it always comes back on topic. I suppose I'll always peruse the daily new posts to see if there's anything interesting but lately it doesn't take me very long to check the 10 pages that always seem to be there.

Cheers
Willey
