We have just concluded a 23 Autumn Leaves New England Tour with Fantasy Tours. 9 of the nights we stayed in sub-standard campgrounds that I would have normally never used. In fact, if we were not with a group of great RV's we would have moved to another campground. One campground we had to 'dry camp': no water, no elec, nothing. After paying $212 per night you would expect better than this!! We did not give them a good review and I plan to send a msg to Fantasy. We will never take another trip with them..........buyer be aware!!

So, reading both the pro's and cons listed, still seems interesting. Looking at the Adventurer Caravans, Alaska/Canada, works out to be about $150 a day, not including gas.

Curious about how much driving you do in a day, I mean seems like a lot of stops, and you are not driving everyday, so was wondering if anyone has done this about how much the gas worked out to? Not cost, since that is always changing, but did you drive so much that you had to fuel everyday, except those days you stayed two or more days?

On our trip to Alaska the group normally traveled short distances. I don't recall the miles but it was not excessive. I recommend you call the company and ask for more detail info on your routing. We went in 2011 with Adventure Treks. They were first rate! Good Luck
