If you didn't RV, what would you do?

We would probably have more money in the bank, but would be infinitely bored with sitting around watching the tube....

Ride motorcycles but I would probably find myself divorced when I came home.

Yes, more money in the Bank and we would fly with a small airplane and the money would be gone too or go Boating and be broke.

Sailing. But I'd probably be doing it by myself...DW has this thing about deep water and not being able to walk ashore . Other than that, I'll have to get 'kitchen clearance' and get back to you. Bob

It's interesting. Actually when we are in the RV we do pretty much what we do here at our "other " home---we just live some where else for a while. I remember after our first four months trip my neighbor came over and ask "how our camping trip went"?
It is difficult for me to think that living in a 36' motor home with three tv's surround sound, convection oven, ice maker etc; is much of a camping trip. So I said "well we were not camping we just decided to live in Arizona for a while. That was ten years ago.
That kind of defines it for us. My wife has a consulting business she conducts in the motor home and here. I do wood work, many RV resorts have woodshops, and I take tools with me, my wife her sewing machines etc; so for us not much change I guess. But this way we have a mountain home, a home by a stream, a desert home a home with an ocean view---name it we can have it when ever we choose.

Boating. But the DW says only one expensive hobby at a time. Thankfully she does not count amateur radio as one of my hobbies, but rather an extension of what I used to do in the military before I retired, God bless her.

Well, I'd probably get wet when it rains.

When we went Full-timing we gave up boating. Now that being said, I wanted to have the best of both worlds and tow our boat around the country and use it as a RV on land and a boat in the water, DW said no way.

First four years of my retirement I bought a 50ft Trawler and circumnavigated the east coast by water. Left Fort Myers, Fl sailed north across the gulf and up the rivers to the Great Lakes. Then into Canada from Lake Superior to Montreol, back into NY and the Erie canal. Down the Hudson into the N Atlantic and followed the intracoastal waters back to Florida. We later went accross the gulf again and into Kentucky then back across Florida. I'd do it again in a heart beat!

Oh wow! Talk about a golf widow. When I was golfing I was doing it 4-6 times a week, sometimes 36 holes in one day. Well 37 if you count the 19th hole. Two ACL reconstrucions, left rotators cuff repaired, right knee replaced, right rotators cuff just repaird, left knee needing replacement, well, it's been a while since I golfed. Couple that with being broadsided when i was on my MC doing 50 mph down the highway, I'm lucky to be here.
The doctor said I could chip and putt now, and after May 15th a full swing with the golf club, so I guess it would be golfing. I'd be golfing and she would be playing cards. (Master Card, Visa, American Express, etc. She can be quite a card shark in those games.)

I am not able to answer the question. My first coach was in 1978. This year we will (should) complete our second tour of the lower 48 states. RVing is more than travel, it's the people, clubs, rallies and all the activities that go along with RVing. Honestly, I do not know what I would do if RVing was removed from my life.
