The RV is still the best way to see the country and it is cheaper than flying on long extended trips. But like you say "Some of us already knew that! "
The article did not mention that motorcycle sales also increase for the purpose of saving gasoline in commuting to work. Also it failed to mention those who could no longer afford their stick homes and chose to downsize to a RV.
