S & B whole house water filter???

What sticks and bricks water filtration system do you use and are you happy with it? Reason I ask is we've known for several years the small neighborhood we live in (approx 40 homes) have had some wells go bad.. We are just a mile out of town but no city water up here, so all are wells. Our water (knock on wood) has always smelled and tasted great,,, BUT 1 1/2 years ago The University of Arkansas came by wanting to test our water. We of course said sure,, and just got the results last month. I think you'd have to be a chemist or such to figure out the several pages of numbers,,, but thing is they said the wells were polutted with gasoline and diesel , refined.. They couldn't come up with a source, and since it first showed up about 2007, some wells were getting better... We have been using bottled water for most things, but washing dishes, showers, etc... One thing that stuck out in our results was methane...
I'd like your opinions or advice on a filtration system . I see some only remove sediment, which is really not a big problem here. Thanks,
Monkey

I use one sold by Home Depot-they have several to look at-I would think you would want to filter with charcoal witch cost a little more.A good place to start looking.

Pelican makes a large coconut charcoal filter that is rechargeable, put one on our house and it did improve the water quality.
