Sad day for my towing machine

Once upon a time, there was a lovely RAM 1500. It was the best of the best, it was straight, it was true, and it was awesome. And then an immovable object placed itself between me and the direction I intended to travel. Inertia tried its damnedest to get us there, but alas, twas not to be. Sad truck :-(

But it saved our lives, and my daughter Alexandra and I walked away without a scratch! Go RAM Trucks!

Thankfully, I have a good friend who kindly loaned me his truck so we could go camping this weekend. Friends with trucks are great friends to have!

Glad to hear everyone is ok - looks like a bad hit and the RAM did its job indeed.

Just because it is named Ram, does not mean you have to use it that way. Glad everyone is OK.

I would have to say the ole' Dodge did very well. It looks as though you still could have driven it. Very glad to hear you and the family walked away. Be sure to let your INS. Co. know you are driving a friends truck, just in case, ya never know whats around the corner these days!

Head on collision directly in front of me. Nothing but a pile of cars and nowhere to go. Stomped on the brakes, slowed down a lot, but not enough. So the object I hit looked like a 4-door Chevy 1500. At least it used to.

We're all good, though. :-)

You know what they say Chris, any landing you can walk away from...

Glad you and Alex are OK. The steel can be replaced.

Ouch, glad everyone is ok! Might take a lot of wax to fix that one.

A little tape and a NASCAR crew would have it back out doing 180MPH.

Yes sir, and a good saying it is!

Still waiting on word from the Sheriff's department so they can allow the insurance company in to see the truck.
