Safety equipment

My baby boy (26) was cutting a tree without his chaps well as accidents happen and the saw got him in the knee. Lucky no permanent damage but going to be sore on the leg and light in the pocket. Just a reminder we have safety equipment for a reason, it doesn't take that must time to put it on no matter what it is.

26, just about the age when kids, start listening to the voice of experience , or remembering the stuff you've been telling them for the past number of years.
Can't point any fingers, a lot of what my father told me didn't register till I was in my 30's

I once heard a comment from a friend that at the age of 18 he thought his parents were the dumbest parents on the planet. When he was 25 he was surprised how much they had learned in just 7 years !

Using all power equipment is like riding a horse. Once you think you have the horse mastered, he will prove to you who the boss really is.........

That is a modified quote from Samuel Clemens who said "At 15 I was appalled at what am ignoramus my father was and at 18 was amazed at how much he had learned in three short years."

Talking

Whenever I yell at a youngster to turn his music down, or remind him to be safe, I think, "Oh migosh! I've become my father!"

I have often said if you graphed my intelligence over time and against my son's age, I got dumber than dirt during his teenage years - line on the graph started to plummet when he was about 14-15, stayed there for some time, then in his late teens the line started rapidly climbing, then in his 20's it was higher than ever before. :-)
