Would anyone know which states on the East Coast in which 65+ do not need salt water fishing licences?

Thank you..............

Thank you very much, as I'll be fishing at Lynnhaven Inlet. Small world, eh?

In Florida you can fish salt or fresh water at age 65 if you are a citizen of Florida. You can also fish Georgia freshwater if a citizen of Florida and age 65. Also, if you are a citizen of Fla at any age, you can fish salt water from the bank without a lic. I retired from the Fla Game and Fish Comm and during my employment (20+ years) I tried to get them to initiate a National lic for retirees, but no luck. Don't think I'll ever see a national lic in my lifetime. It sure is a pain to get a lic in other states for say a one night or evening fishing from the banks of the CG. s/Toby

Toby. Thanks a lot. Yes a national lic. would be great.

Rebelsbeach. Now THAT is a small world!

I fish the Inlet on the outside of the bridge on the middle to end of the falling tide. Used to fish Rudee's but you can't fish off the rocks anymore.

So I travel from Québec to fish in VB, and I spent 51/2 yrs. in Norfolk and the only fishing I ever did was on E.Main St. or Ocean view.....Had I known!...LOL.
