Yes, "DRAW a fake check" is what I said. You know, crayons or finger paints, etc.

Grimesy, I like the monopoly money idea or maybe an IOU

Making a fake check is illegal if the intent is illegal. For example, making a larger than normal check payable to Mickey Mouse and sending it to the scanner is not considered an intent to deceive. Having a child or grandchild make a "check" on paper with crayons is not deceitful.
There are plenty of ways to have fun with the ignorant. Trust me, I had one of these "guys" on the hook for awhile when I was selling my fishing boat. I actually looked forward to checking my Yahoo email account each day to see how frustrated he was with my "English as a second language."

Just remember that legally you can write a binding contract on bathroom tissue so any kind of check, even drawn with crayons or finger paint, could be legal and binding. As far fethed as it sounds you could be liable. Don't play the game. Not worth your time and effort. Just email back that the MH has been sold already. Report the scam and be glad that you were not one to be taken as many others have been.

This is from another thread, I'm posting it here as a possible suggestion for a response because I got such a kick out of it.

I sent him a picture of my hand with 3 fingers extended. Ask if he could read between the lines. Funny, I never heard back from him.

Info posted on here forewarned of something not right.
The above post is just my experience/opinion which is worth exactly what you paid for it.
