Scan Health Care

Last year my wife signed over her Medicare to Scan health care. We have been happy with Scan and their services. Back in September we were in Palm Springs and we had to visit the emergency room for a twisted ankle. About a month after the visit we received a bill for the co-pay of $50.00 which we paid. This week we received another bill for $245.00 from the hospital. I called Scan and asked if this bill had been submitted to them for payment. The lady from Scan asked me for the account number and the phone number for the hospital and asked me to hold while she contacted the hospital. Several minutes later she came back on line and said the bill was their responsibility and that they would pay for it. What a nice surprise, I didn’t have to send paper work to anyone or argue about who was responsible for the bill. It was handled quickly and properly. What a nice company to do business with. Just thought I’d pass along a positive report about an insurance company.

Hope we have the same good service" if and when we need it"
We live in the SF bay area,so Palm Springs is out of our region,we do spend a lot of time down there.
