I grew up in the Pittsburgh area in the 50's and 60's so I know football. It was in our blood. Robbie Gould (from PA) who kicks for the Bears is my second or third cousin.
These days I could care less. The best news would be to stop all this crap. I lost interest and mostly respect when many of these athletes started making way more $$$$$$$ than the sense they often displayed on and off the field. This is not true for ALL players or athletes but it still gets way,way to much coverage. Who wins won't matter to any ones bank account except theirs and their accounts are already very healthy.
It's a sad state of affairs when most guys/gals/people know more about their favorite team and can quote statistics until the cows come home but know little about the government which has provided them the freedoms to do what they do.
It's OK do your sports but know and participate in your country's Government.

I really don't care who wins, but also hope for a close game. We record the game, so we can go back and check out the commercials!!
That being said, the small group we have coming over to watch are all for Seattle, so to add some slam talk to the mix - I'll talk up the Pat's !
Enjoy the game, wherever you are, and for whomever you are going for...

strange end
Seattle's last play call disappointed me to the max. I would have liked to see Seattle run marshon. If they wouldn't have scored running for one yard think I would be more at peace with the loss. This way looks like a give away of the game throwing the ball into such heavy coverage. The smart throw would have been into the corner of the end zone, I think. Guess there's always surprises in life, and games!

That play call was made by Pete Carroll and his offensive team. It was an unanimous decision but it failed. If it had succeeded everyone would be saying it was the greatest call in history.
So be it and the Patriots are the Super Bowl Winners one more time.
Personally I think the Packers should have been playing today.

Ahh, if it weren't for Monday morning quarterbacks where would we be? If I could 2nd. guess every decision I've made I'd have a perfect record; but then I'm only 2nd. guessing myself. Great game!

My thoughts exactly. Hero or Zero. All pundants be saying how great the call was if it worked. Very easy to call the game when it over !!
I'd rather the Colts have been paying that game. But they forgot to show up at last game !!
